<p>In this years election cycle one Trustee will be elected by ISOC 
Organizational Members, one trustee by ISOC Chapters, and two will be 
selected by the Internet Engineering Task Force.</p>
<p>The Trustee positions are 3-year terms that will begin mid-year 2018 and expire mid-year 2021.</p>
<p>The Board of Trustees provides strategic direction, inspiration, and 
oversight to advance the Internet Society's mission of preserving the 
open, global Internet.</p>
