The rationale for the public notice is to encourage consumers to seek ICT services only from licensed service providers. This will guarantee consumers of recourse to regulatory intervention in instances where licensees fail to meet their contract obligations.
It is also meant to complement ongoing initiatives to weed out unlicensed entities from the ICT market,and therefore protected our licensees from unfair competition.<br>
