          candidates for the Board of Trustees Election 2015. We are

          that such well-qualified individuals offered to serve on the
          Internet

election
          concluded on 6<sup>th</sup> April and the results have been
          certified by the Elections Committee.</span></font></blockquote>
    <blockquote><font face="Liberation Serif, serif"><span lang="en-GB">CHAPTERS</span></font></blockquote>
    <blockquote><font face="Liberation Serif, serif"><span lang="en-GB">In
the
          chapters election we had four candidates for the open Trustee
          seat. <a href="https://www.internetsociety.org/who-we-are/other/walid-al-saqaf" target="_blank">Walid
            Al-Saqaf</a> received 34 votes out of the 88 votes cast Each
          of the
          other candidates (and abstentions) received less than this
          number of
          votes. A list of all Chapters eligible to vote in the
          election,
          indicating which Chapters exercised their voting privilege, is
          available <a href="http://connect.internetsociety.org/communities/community-home/librarydocuments/viewdocument/?DocumentKey=6cd10bba-8775-43c9-b15e-f88fb047c2b4" target="_blank">here</a>.</span></font></blockquote>
    <blockquote><font face="Liberation Serif, serif"><span lang="en-GB">ORGANISATIONS</span></font></blockquote>
    <blockquote><font face="Liberation Serif, serif"><span lang="en-GB">In
the
          Organisation membership election there were three candidates
          for
          one Trustee seat. <a href="https://www.internetsociety.org/who-we-are/other/alice-munyua" target="_blank">Alice
            Munyua</a> received 92 weighted votes out of 232 weighted
          votes cast.
          Each of the other candidates (and abstentions) received less
          than
          this number of votes. In this election, the vote of each
          organisational member has a weight of between 1 and 6 based on
          the
          membership category.</span></font></blockquote>
    <blockquote><font face="Liberation Serif, serif"><span lang="en-GB">It
may
          be of further interest that in the 2015 Election, 88 out of
          105
          Chapters (84%), and 74 out of 119 Organisation Members (62%)
          voted.</span></font></blockquote>
    <blockquote><font face="Liberation Serif, serif"><span lang="en-US"><span lang="en-GB">We
            now move into the challenge period. Challenges can be lodged
            between
            now and 21:00 UTC on </span><span lang="en-GB">1</span><span lang="en-GB">7</span><span lang="en-GB">th</span><span lang="en-GB">
          </span><span lang="en-GB">April</span><span lang="en-GB"> 201</span><span lang="en-GB">5</span><span lang="en-GB">,
            by email to the President of the Internet Society, Kathy
