<font style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">The Application for empanelling a 3-judge bench and for the grant of stay of the migration process pending full hearing has just been dismissed. The Petition is proceeding to full
trial this afternoon with the Petitioner given till 1pm to highlight its submissions and all the Respondents, after lunch break.

There are two possibilities:
(i) The judge entertaining the highlighting of written submissions and then delivering a judgment on/before Frid. Such judgment may, however, not go into the depth of the issues as the judge has limited time. In that case, he would reserve and give reasons
for his decision later.
(ii) The judge taking probably a two-week time out to deliver a reasoned judgment but then requesting the parties to allow him to injuct the migration until that judgment is delivered.

The former would be preferable given the efforts taken towards the switch off on 13th, but the latter is not bad either, and certainly much better than an ex-parte injunction which the Petitioners had unsuccessuly sought when they moved to Court.
