<font style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">The hearing of the Digital Migration High Court Petition has just been concluded this evening and the Hon Judge has indicated that he cannot deliver a reasoned ruling on or before
13th Dec and has reserved the same on or before 23rd Dec.<br>

As was predicted in my other post, he has granted injunctory orders barring the Digital Migration process till the delivery of his judgment. What that means essentially is that 13th Dec is not on for Nrb and Government/CCK will have to set a new date after
the judgment is delivered. Any media/public campaigns for the 13th <br>
<br>
Unfortunately, this being a public forum, it would be sub judice to respond to the inquiry regarding "200 Km" as I would necessarily touch on matters pending before the Court for Judgment.<br>

Attached map helps better visualisation of the areas that would not be permitted to receive television signal. Trace would be affected areas. The whole of Nairobi may be forced to be without any analogue signal? Machakos, Nakuru, Malindi, Eldoret..... etc.<br>

Recalling 29 November, 2013 post to this list, "....post 2015, [neighbouring countries] digital broadcasts are protected from analogue broadcast interferences from a distance of 200 km from the borders..."<br clear="none">

Which means that only a small area in central Kenya would be allowed to receive analogue signals while all areas within 200 km off Kenyan borders would be signal blank, suggesting, Kisumu, Malaba, Mombasa, even Nairobi(or parts thereoff) would be affected.
