<div class="gmail_extra">Hi Muchiri,<br><br>As a veteran in the Industry I have a few pointers that would help.<br>1. It is a liberalized market one is free to choose an ISP that would give better service so by all means shop for better one. <br>
2. It would be good for CCK to measure ISP performance independently so that minimum standards are kept, bandwidth delivered, quality of customer service. As CCK does this for the mobile operators it should do the same for ISPs in its quarterly reports and have some sort of penalty if the providers don't comply. Perhaps use TESPOK or KITOS help work with the providers and CCK for compliance. <br>
3. I totally agree that bandwidth provided is not the last mile but the bandwidth to the Internet..period. One can use a site <a href="http://www.testmy.net">www.testmy.net</a> that actually gives you comparison results for other ISPs in Kenya including your provider, would help you choose a better one.<br>
