As a result I spend quite a huge chunk of my time nowadays sucking all that is discussed and researching including enlisting to join some key bodies. <br></span></div><div><br><span></span></div><div><span>KICTAnet is fairly unknown to others but has a wealth of information, expertise and ideas. Maybe a strategy to reposition it is due. I am aware that there is a push to have an industry body to represent I.T (one body) as was discussed in Connected Kenya ref KITOS post #140 Friday. <br></span></div><div><br><span></span></div><div><span>My humble views (given the relative experience shared here) is that we do need to have a conversation and decision

needs to re-juvinate<br>and re-energize. Bring in new blood and thinking. What do we want from KICTAnet, 8yrs later? What management structures, membership structures, operational, financial structures do we want to see going forward?<br>
<br>Perhaps a brainstorming face2face session is due. I for one have been the moderator since inception and maybe someone else can do a better job and we just have not asked them to come forth.
