One can underdstand, on reading the book, why/how Col Qaddafi's Libya became rich (by squeezing better deals than others) with BIG OIL, ensuring that the country got a better share of proceeds than others. ... one could almost foresee the recent invasion and overthrow of the Libyan leader.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>BIG OIL, sleeping with government officers (including
presidents) has impoverished Nigeria than if they didn't have it, complete with consequences of environmental degradation and the like.</span></div><div><br><span></span></div><div><span>I hope Kenya will get tough negotiators rather than people focused on fat foreign bank accounts so that we can get fair return for the country and especially local communities.
