Hi,<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>I think the use of word tapping is misleading, They are called Lawful Interception Gateways and the design of such systems is in such a way that there are several checks and balances that enhance the 'Lawfulness' of the system. </div>
<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>They have been used to in cases of suspected terrorist case and even in European countries the need for Public security is always  the overriding concern when implementing such cases.</div>
<div><br></div><div>All in all  such systems  are quite useful, so would call for proper legislation to safeguard public security and Privacy concerns in general.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>regards </div><div>
