Listers,<div><br></div><div>As you are aware Kenya will be hosting the sixth United Nations Internet Governance forum from 27 - 30 September 2011. The last forum was held in Vilnius Lithuania in September 2010 and it marked the end of the initial five year period. There was overwhelming consensus on the need to continue with the forum which brings together stakeholders involved in managing the Internet from governments, civil Society, academia and the technical community on equal footing. Kenya has been an active participant, our very own East African Internet Governance Forum and Kenya Internet Governance forum has provided a model that has been studied and replicated across the world.</div>
<div>This is the first time the meeting is being held in Sub-Saharan Africa and we urge all listers to register, the meeting will provide a great opportunity to network with peers from all continents involved in managing the Internet.
