Update on National Optical Fiber Backbone Infrastructure (NOFBI)</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"sans-serif";"></span></p><div><div><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt;"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"sans-serif";"><br>Hallo Listers,<br><br>Other the last couple of days there has been growing interest in the status<br>of the government build National Optical Fiber Backbone Infrastructure.<br>Since last week PS Dr. Ndemo and his team at the MOIC have been engaging<br>operators in discussions to find the best way to maximize value on the<br>government built NOFBI infrastructure. In summary the outcome of the<br>meetings has been that;<br>1. NOFBI is accessible to all interested licensed operators who shall<br>provide the last mile solutions to their customers. <br>2. A management committee comprising of various operators and government has<br>been put in place to finalize on suitable pricing
and ensure as many people<br>as possible have access to the backbone infrastructure and ensure that it<br>is eventually self-sustainable.<br>3.
