2011 Kenya IGF is a follow up to the 2010 national IGF and the

national and the regional forums aim at creating
awareness,instituting a consensus building process to develop a
common understanding of local IG issues as well as building capacity
to enable meaningful participation in global Internet policy,

Kenya IGF will therefore provide Kenyan Internet stakeholders with
an opportunity to increase their understanding of Internet
governance issues and the links with socio-economic, political

the internet governance community of practice evolving in the East

Kenya will be hosting the 2011 global United Nations Internet
Governance Forum (UN-IGF) the Kenya and EA forums will support the

outcomes of the K-IGF will be submitted and presented at the 2011
