Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and the
Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) that outlines the
mandate and functions of IANA.</font></font></p><p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0in; widows: 0; orphans: 0"><br>
</p><p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0in; widows: 0; orphans: 0"><font face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"><font size="4">NTIA
is seeking public comments to enhance the performance of IANA
functions in the development and award of a new IANA functions
contract. ICANN currently performs IANA functions on behalf of the US
government through a contract with NTIA which is approaching expiry.</font></font></p><p align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0in; widows: 0; orphans: 0"><br>
