<div>There's lost of these apps already on <a href="http://www.getjar.com">www.getjar.com</a> that are compatible for any Java-based phones and I guess what <a href="http://juju.co.ke">juju.co.ke</a> has done is to take one of those opensourced apps and modified them. Legally and ethically sounds wrong.</div>

<br>My take is that at a "pedestrian" level, i think it can "mulika" enough people ;-). At a technical level - it could just be the killer application that will drive the majority of the locals to the web (our very own facebook equivalent/local content?). From a legal perspective it looks like it does violate enough clauses and it would be interesting to see how it plays out if a court order demands it shuts down...after all, I can restore the service on a webserver outside the country (.com) while still serving the same Kenyan clientele..<br>
