The planned civic education has unfortunately been marred by logistical hurdles culminating in distortion of information as well as peddling of untruths by both sides of the referendum divide. It is disheartening that half truths and outright misleading information are being given to the unsuspecting members of public in a bid to lure them into taking positions on the proposed constitution.
