I had Prof Ongeri say that there will be a stakeholders meeting at KIE soon when he was announcing KCPE results and that the forum would be used to air such views, i guess this would form a nice memorandum, Akich you should be present this in that meeting how i wish Musau Ndunda (hope i spelt the name right was on this list). We have e-learning experts in this country and it is a question of tapping their expertise, the major stumbling bloc is the willingness and priority of our leadership to prioritise the matter, Hon Engineer Rege, maybe the Parliamentary commitee can help out here, what do you say?<br>

The education of the children and youth is quite a serious matter to the future of Kenya. If we continue to do things the same way as they have always been done, we will continue to see the same results. Poverty is the reason why girls cannot afford pads to go to school. The Kenyan government needs to start taking education seriously and realize that our investment in education determines the future of the country. In that frame, ICTs do provide an extremely valuable role in assuring quality education in a number of ways:</div>

A solution would be to have schools send samples of the Continuous Assessments to KNEC for moderation. This may be done annually and the samples, which will accompany the submitted marks list, should include those that scored the top, middle and lowest marks. Since we trust the KNEC markers, we can trust them to moderate the CAT samples and award just marks.<br>
