We may be talking the same things. When the Government or councils own,
it is facilitating. Government or councils should not be in business.
They can invest partly but they should not run anything called business.
This has failed in many places and in many times. Telcoms industry in
this country is vibrant because Government does not run them and if you
recall the sector almost failed. Today virtually every country has
privatized.

You will never manage transport business without a regulator. Not the
police. The regulator will deal with this attitude problem. Allow me to
take you back to my earlier argument on which system (ideology) works. I
said we must accord the people political freedom them ensure individual
liberties. Within that realm we can agree when one interveres with the
others liberties. This where the regulator will come in. The police will
deal with the criminal aspect not monitoring.

Do not complain about the police when the problem is ours as a people. In
the morning we want to be controlled yet in the evening we want to be in
the streets protesting for freedoms. We must agree under which framework
we operate. That is why a simple document to provide us with a governance
framework has become such a big thing. We would not need a constitution
if we all understand what individual liberties are and how we must relate
to one onother. Leave Government out of business.
