I must agree with S. Mwangi. Last few weeks we have indeed experienced more brawn than brain exchanges despite repeated appeals for diplomacy. Furthermore, many have called me offline and emailed me privately on the need for action intended to reduce e-verbal abuse while increasing fruitful exchanges.<br>

In the interest of the wider membership we shall have to put on "moderation-status"* the next member whose posting contains abusive/offensive language. I trust that most will not need a lawyer to judge what is abusive/offensive but the general rule is that what is abusive offline (face-2-face) is likely to be considered abusive online in most cultures.<br>
