Ms Catherine Kyalo, Africa Regional Coordinator for Community Networks,
KICTANet has some interesting announcements <https://bit.ly/3ICHlo8> to
make.


   1.  South Africa plans to provide 10GB of free data to every SA
   household, regardless of income bracket. This move is part of the key
   objective of the SA Connect Broadband Policy.
   2. The SA Connect policy is targeting 80% broadband access to
   communities and government facilities.
   3. Can Kenya follow suit and reopen its WOAN discussions, to avail
   high-spectrum to retail and small-scale network providers in the move to
   support digital inclusion through community networks?
