It's unlikely 'high-end" phones will be sold like that. But I do get your
phone. Way back when Telkom was Telkom 😀 I got an iPhone on a 2-year
contract. Basically it came with a data, voice plan for I think 6k a month.
For two years. The great thing about the plan was that I was spending that
amount or more anyway per month.

I don't mean to tell Safaricom how to do their business but most Telcos in
Europe and the US have these contracts for their 'high-end' phones. Not
sure why Safaricom doesn't have such plans.
