[kictanet] Launch of 2 Policy Briefs on Digital IDs

KICTANet will be launching 2 policy briefs on the *implications of Digital
IDs in Kenya*.

The main objective of this launch is to provide a platform to create
awareness on human rights issues, implications, and impact of Kenya’s
Digital ID program, Huduma Namba.  KICTAnet conducted research on digital
ID’s in Kenya, with a focus on documenting the experiences and lessons
learned from the Huduma Namba Process. It has since produced two reports
highlighting the findings from the study and a documentary, which provide
the context, perspectives, and information on key concerns of the process.
This meeting is expected to provide a platform for discussion, information
sharing and strategic thinking on implementing Kenya’s digital ID program.
