Those clauses on search and seizure in the Computer and Cyber Crimes Bill are a trap. I hope the Parliamentarians see that and make it harder for police officers to ‘spy’. Really, if there is probable cause, then it will not be difficult getting a court order. Saying there are instances where they don’t need a warrant is quite dangerous. It is important to write objectivity into the law, especially where human rights are at stake. No matter what, follow the procedure.
