[kictanet] kictanet Digest, Vol 129, Issue 97

Hi Listers,

I will second Grace on the need for a well prepared data protection law, as
we can see the EU are on with the GDPR that will be implemented starting
May 2018.

This needs to be a priority matter as we become more data aware, there is
lots of data being processed daily within the Kenyan ecosystem and it is
important to have an equally good data protection law that can complement
this to ensure that both users and the organizations respect the privacy of
users.

Regards
Rop
