 I read the piece.
It's like telling you a kitchen knife is dangerous and then spelling out the the details of how it can be used to kill your spouse.
Whereas those may be true, someone else may want to use the same kitchen knife to prepare a sumptuous dinner with the spouse. 
Both perspectives are right and its a question of which how you chose to implement Blockchain.
