Dear Listers,

As someone who is more involved in the arts than the sciences, I wanted to
champion the importance of adding the "A" in S.T.E.M

Hi Mildred,

+1 indeed, as one cant separate the Arts from Science nor the Sciences
from the Arts and Art is a reciprocal of Science.

The musician performs an act of Arts and the producer today uses science to
produce great works of art using sciences and tech.

The most beautiful structural designs in modern cities today are a work of
art and sciences, in fact going back to the Ancient Pyramids which were
also a work of both arts and sciences.

So why not, its important that 'A' is added to STEM to debunk the
discimination towards the Arts.

Its always the artist is in their state of cognitive genesis, when a new
idea is being birth, who come up with designs that give science a meaning
hence forth the creative process combines both the arts and the sciences.

The marriage between the sciences and arts go back to Ancient Akkad through
out the medieval era and it was about time that the significancy of Arts
was recognised.
