I guess the trick is like in Terms of reference in a tender. The HR technically evaluates you using terms and if you have them in your cv you get to the financials.

Thats a Good debate issue.... This is a classic "IT GUY" phenomenon. The main problem is that Many people/organisations do not differentiate the different fields/skill sets associated with ICT and tend to lump them up as one under the general title "IT". Whether you are a programmer, systems analyst, network specialist, systems admin, security expert ... to them you are the "IT Guy" expected to have answers to all problems relating to computers and electronic devices.
