This is further proof why the data protection bill that has been
bouncing between the AG's office, Cabinet and Parliament is long overdue.

Data collection, processing, sharing, storage and destruction are
procedures the bill captures but since its drafting ~4 years ago nothing
has come of it.

Whoever knows anything about the bill can let us know where the hitch is
and probably interested parties can draft a data protection bill to
ensure these kind of scenarios are managed.
