Hi Listers,

Maybe Safaricom do not have the skills for launch and manage a mobile app as they have been too busy photo copying ideas and outsourcing.

Here it is not cannibalising but going after the banks card business which today is less then 2.5% of the transactional value.

Again, my please to Safaricom management to review the project, and if they need help in thinking it through I am happy to facilitate, this is called the looking back effect.

Or is there another motive of providing ID, Drivers Licence, Health insurance and further capture all the transactions that the FI's are doing currently.

CBK, please review and check if this is the way forward for the least regulated money transaction service in Kenya.
