Well said. I believe that as an industry if we need to speak as one voice, then we need the insiders themselves to agree on their own modus operandi and structures. An outside party such as the parliament intervening in such matters will only bring the same bureaucratic, institutionalised, old school way of thinking. The IEEE is an institution that works well and is quite flexible and transparent in how they conduct their matters, we could learn from them.
