Tony

Indeed. The new investment story is what led me to this particular two year
old story which is still relevant today. I was hoping to demonstrate a new
mantra in business:-

Doing well by doing good.

Worth a read and a thought. Too often we in business and government have
lost our way by chasing the profit motive and power simply for the sake of
it.

If the three core cogs of society - Public, Private and Civic work for the
better good of society we would solve lots of Global Problems. That's why
we members of KICTANet can inform a lot on how we can get things done
better and without any vested interests. Most of the people on this list
will never meet in their lifetime yet the ideas we share among each other,
agree, agree to disagree in a civil manner is something we hope the world
will emulate.

And that's why Greg Wyler is my Hero for this December.

One thing that caught my eye in this article was how the technology his
company is building is already reducing internet costs by 90%!! Now that's
huge. He's not only saying that Internet Access is a human right but he's
doing something about it!

Happy Holidays to you all!
