Subject: FRAMEWORK FOR POLICY REVIEW
Date: Tue, 19 Apr 2016 22:15:22 +0000
Dear Cofek
Kindly find the docs attached (a copy of the ICT policy Review and an invitation letter) requesting for cofek to nominate someone to participate in the SWG 2 on devices, applications and content. KICTANet is the chair of the working group and represented by John Walubengo with other members drawn from Safaricom, Tespok, Kenya Bankers Association and Strathmore University.
Could you kindly let Walubengo know who will join the working group? The person will then be included in the group's list and be updated on what needs to happen.
Thank you so much.RegardsGrace

Hi Walubengo,
Proposed changes to the Draft ICT Policy 2016 that capture Constitutional provision for self-governance, the Political Pillar of Vision 2030, Agenda 2063 and UN SDGs are available on http://www.fixmyward.org/blog/ 2016/08/16/public- participation-ict-policy-2016/
Let us hope the text will be changed to support use of ICT for public participation and effective governance.

Listers,
I have not cleared with the Ministry but I believe the attached is a public document since it will be discussed tomorrow by the public.
Find attached the revised Draft ICT Policy for your review. If you have any final comments, I know they will be welcome during the deliberation tomorrow at Laico.
