@Washington There are some soft ways of dealing with corruption (including
abuse of power) like passing laws (setting performance targets), all
officials in charge of public institutions (including the police, army,
judiciary) must adhere to. These include automating procurement and
customer/citizen service systems and keeping these systems online
(functional). If these performance targets are not met, these public
officials will no longer be in a position to keep lowering our quality of
lives.
