Thnx Barrack for your quick response.  Lets hear from the rest.
We have about 800 Listers on KICTAnet...most being lurkers ofcourse. But this is your chance to make your maiden speech/wishlist :-)
You can speak as individual or group, but eventually GG says we will compile the response along the  media, academia, developer, regulator, operator, policy related issue and submit to the new team at some cocktail event to be orgarnised sometime early next year.
Toa maoni. These guys cant hack it without your input.
walu.

Many thanks Walu, you certainly read my mind. I was watching Cabinet Secretary Mucheru on TV yesterday, he looks set for the assignment. Congratulations bwana CS, Congratulations Victor, Congratulations Sammy.

Back to the wishlist:

5)   A return of the multi-stakeholder model of governance and decision making in the sector (KEPSA) is not the only stakeholder as we have witnessed in the course of the year, we would wish to see more stakeholders engaged by government on an equal footing, Private Sector, Civil Society, Technical Community, Academia.

6) Availability of the CS and PS to the Community: I hope going forwad the CS and PS will not be very busy with travel and other commitments as has been the case in the last two years. Having them support and officiate ICT events boosts the morale of practioner's in the sector. Stability of a family is guaranteed when the Father and mother are available. I hope the CS and PS can also respond to queries raised on the mailing lists from time to time.

Ni hayo tu kwa sasa. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Prosperous 2016.

To the CS and PS, tuko pamoja

Regards

Then I thought...maybe we should add on his inbox a few of our own ideas/ICT wishlist. Something for them (Victor+Itemere) to do in the first 100days.  After that it is often impossible to make an impact.
Here's my wishlist
1. Use technology to get rid of the legendary Nairobi Jam2. Get ICTs to Counties i.e. Kenya is NOT Nairobi and Nairobi is NOT Kenya :-)3. Return the Subsidized Laptop program for  University Students (Wezesha program)4. Resolve the contentious Safaricom 'Dominance' Question.5. ?6. ?

Plse add your ideas before logging off for Xmas this thrsday.
regards.
walu.
