Dear All,

For those of you who have not seen it the UN CEB (the chief executives of
all the UN system agencies, led by the UN Secretary-General) made a
statement about ICTs for development and the links between WSIS and the
global goals (SDGs). As I think most of us know, fully integrating ICTs
into mainstream development is an ongoing challenge in the development
system so this is a welcome statement.

It also confirms that UNGIS will remain the operational focal point for UN
system work in these regards.
