series of Entrepreneurship Forums at the iHub being run by Dr Bitange Ndemo.

Dr. Bitange Ndemo, a member of the iHub board of advisors, is hosting a
series of entrepreneurship talks, pulling in experts from different sectors
to highlight the opportunities in their industries. Dr Ndemo is a senior
lecturer at the University of Nairobi’s School of Business and former
Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communication and
Technology.
On Saturday, 29th November, 2014, Su Kahumbu will be our guest speaker.
Social Entrepreneur Su Kahumbu Stephanou, is a passionate organic farmer,
Founder and CEO of Green Dreams Ltd <http://www.greendreams.co.ke/> and
Green Dreams Tech Ltd.
She is a pioneer in the organic industry in Kenya working with small holder
farmers for over 15 years. Her goal is to inspire, enable and support
farmers across Africa engage in sustainable agro ecological agriculture in
order to alleviate poverty and contribute to food security and a
sustainable environment.
Through her company Green Dreams TECH Ltd, she developed award winning
mobile phone application “iCow” winner of the first Apps4Africa
competition, winner of the Vision 2030 Innovation Award for Agriculture in
Kenya and finalist in the Innovation Prize for Africa 2012.
Su sits on the Advisory Boards of a number of Global and local agricultural
initiatives and is a TED Global Fellow .
