I have argued before, this is very intentional!

GoK spends Ksh 15B every year on Software, mostly enterprise, yet asks its
young citizens to concentrate on developing mobile applications, which even
itself doesn't buy, while leaving the gravy train for foreign companies to
come and squeeze the juice out of the Ksh 15B enterprise market.

So, here we go with yet another pointless mobile application competition!
