Anybody with the finer details and has been following the community
call for globalisation/internationalization/devolution of IANA can
elaborate what this means in the greater scheme of things.

I* welcome "Suggested" changes related to the IANA contract. What are
these suggested changes? Does it mean the US is about to give up
control of IANA?

The role of ICANN remains unchanged as administrator of IANA
functions! Is this a case of "the more things change, the more they
remain the same?"
