[kictanet] Construction at Konza City to start in three months time

Solomon, the passion you have for Konza is good. I like it. I don't think
there is laxity with the current secretariat. A while back, I got hold of a
progress document from KOTDA and I liked the progress.

After devolution, post Kibaki era, government might have shifted focus
to  National Government operations and sidelined key developments that
happen in counties. This is just a hypothesis. If certain region do not
have muscle in government, they might not see Central government
initiatives and funding go their way, and might be forced to invest their
devolution allocation fuds. I've heard leaders wrangle why the government
might want to invest in Konza, located in Makueni county at the expense of
other counties! Which criteria was used to choose it? And such arguments
will take us back to stone age.
