Yawe,
That is a loaded question that may elicit varied responses.
1. Is the industry responsible for the gadgets used to scan people as they
enter Malls and such like places?
2. What kind of technology is hence required to enhance the efficacy of the
metal detectors? I have heard that they only detect such things as car
keys...?
3. Would a full body scanner such as those found in airports suffice?
4. Can the industry pass legislation requiring all buildings have these
body scanners?
5. In the Westgate case (condolences to all affected), what technology can
be used in the event that gunmen walk in shooting???

Food for thought
