I am not sure about ours.However extensive comparative studies have been done between US and EU and the matter is quite clear that value addition to such open data opens up many new business opportunities.
The main reasoning is that tax-payers have already paid for such data and therefore there would be no justification for re-selling it  to the same public for profit.
