If you read the article carefully, they cut the cable to Egypt, and not the
one to Asia from where TEAMS joins. So what cut IMEWE ?

Meanwhile, as one Mutoro calls for the ouster of Ndemo, I think we need to
task him with getting a PPP between African governments for a cable that
goes South, round the Cape and on to London to act as a backup. If BRICs
are serious, they can fund a branch to Brazil. I'm sure TEAMS provides a
good case study for doubting Thomases, being perhaps the cheapest cable by
capacity in Africa?
