[kictanet] Is Kenyan Media Asleep?

I see KEPSA doing that kind of thing when it comes to issues of business interest even during this election period - they had a press conference yesterday. MOA and maybe Ndemo's committee (was it on security or something...though they seem to have stopped their public briefing), could clarify what's going on based on these latest news reaching Kenyans.

It's still unclear what is going on following the news press and international media breaking news

Where are the Media Owners Association (MOA) who run the presidential debate? Can they get together very quickly and agree on a media blackout for politicians sharing defeatist info.

Otherwise, the principal purpose of the presidential debate and media-led peace campaigns might be quickly eroded...MOA led Kenya for Kenyans, Bring Zack Back Home and many more. I am sure they can do this.

MOA has to come out and say they will cover the tallying process and encourage the rule of law!

Listers,

With the information revolution, news makes round at the speed of light.

Why should we be getting breaking news of this kind (below) from international news? Why not from our local media? Should our source of information be by international media houses?

The media is represented on this list, what's going on?
