Again, not being sure of how we shall dispose off the millions of laptops after the expiry of their lifespan, but I seem to read how Europe does it.  Read on @

nb: there was a time Safaricom buzzed about putting together a facility for it 25million+ customers to dump their old phones.  Maybe if they have such a facility, it could be equipped/expanded to deal with laptops...just thinking randomly...
