Guess that horse did bolt..You know sometimes we are victims of our own
trumpet blowing and thinking that we are the cream of the African Tech
Space..May be we are but the fact is that we are not competing in the
African space we are competing in the global space.

A few days ago Dr.Ndemo alluded to the fact that we need to move beyond
rhetoric on the list and actually do something about what is discussed
here. Otherwise we will be confined to the dark spaces where critics reside
without showing anything for it but rims and reels (bytes) of content about
what others have done and have not done...

A little bird told me that the investors of the East Africa Commodity
Exchange did try to set up in Kenya but they found Rwanda more attractive.
It is possible that the system is probably already built. It is also
possible that the system isn't done. May be Paul can be in a better
position to tell us.

Robert, I found your email thread below very prophetic..Interesting how the
power of retrospection can open up our eyes...What I also find interesting
is that the founders of this exchange chose to set up in Rwanda but chose a
Kenyan as its first CEO..

Learnings...Cup half full? instead of half empty?
