[kictanet] New authority to improve efficiency in ICT industry

I disagree.

The key word there is authority.

Sometimes in our push for this innovative/youth centred agenda, we forget
that real leadership skills, in sectors with extensive and unyielding
self-interests requires experience to navigate.

But the first line of defence is a credible board so we should look out for
that. There is no need to get an innovative CEO while the board is a bunch
of ideologically malleable individuals kowtowing to and pushing the
interests of private sector and special interest groups.
