[kictanet] Offering Posta monopoly status will kill innovation

I'm not sure about a monopoly situation but a definite preferential status is not only desirable but good for the country. Remember that not all Kenyans can afford certain services and there has to be some form of government subsidy - whether its outright payments to the institutions to deliver services or though the kind of preferential treatment envisaged by the CS.

Having said that the CS and the community at large must be vigilant enough to ensure that the Management and the Board executes its fiduciary responsibilities with the utmost professionalism and deliberate focus on deliverables.
