[kictanet] Obama budget favors Cyber Security

Federal spending by USA on cyber security will increase to $13 billion. The
funds will be allocated towards Cyber security programs operated by the
following agencies:

   1. Department of Homeland Security
   2. Department of Defense
   3. Intelligence Community
   4. Department of Commerce
   5. Department of Justice

Funding also includes amounts allocated for key basic research such as $754
million for National Institute of Standards and Technology laboratories and
$500 million to promote innovation and economic growth to fund research and
development advances in cybersecurity, explosives detection and
chemical/biological response systems.
