[kictanet] County Executive Committes

"Kenya to become a knowledge economy by 2030"

"Government to invest billions in technocity after acquiring 5,000 acres of land"

"Kenya, one of the leading destinations for ICT innovation"

I wonder why the President did not offer a jembe, kilo of maize seed or saw instead of laptops to the Class 1s?

This is a forum whose aim is the development of ICT which then justifies my 100% emphasis on the same.

I sometimes wonder why we expect ICT to be made the most important agenda in the country anytime government types are speaking.

There are quite simply bigger fish to fry and ICT is simply an enabler, a conduit and an option at increasing efficiency not a silver bullet that will solve all our problems.
