unfortunately consumers will need either a set top box or a tv capable of receiving the digital transmission. There is simply no way around it if this migration will be successful. What we need to help answer now is: how do we give everyone access to a set top box without breaking the bank? either that or give a date for switching over, actually do the switchover and the consumer be damned....
