two years is too little (that tells you am quite old ;-)

anyway, you need to modify your proposal.  Board members should server a term of 2-3yrs, renewable ONLY ONCE. That should ensure continuity (from old members) while allowing for new ideas (from newer board members)

Issues raised in this thread should not go to waste.
Is it possible for  member to sponsor a motion to the KENIC company secretary two months before the AGM so that Board members can only sit for a MAXIMUM of two years. This will bring synergy to KENIC and ensure new ideas are incorporated to this national strategic resource.
